The Social Picture Exploring Photography Series
Our sister company The Social Picture has launched a brand new series, Exploring Photography. Now in it’s 4th week, the series has covered Forced Perspective, Lens Chimping, Motion Blur and Time-lapse photography.
Each photography process requires a different skill set, Forced Perspective is a technique that employs optical illusion to make an object appear farther away, closer, larger or smaller than it actually is and Lens Chimping is a process achieved by holding a convex lens in front of a camera lens, much like the prism. The most recent features include Motion Blur that captures fast moving objects and makes them appear blurred and Time-lapse photography, which manipulates the natural progression of time.
The Social Picture Exploring Photography series delves into each process and then points budding photographers and ‘iPhone’ photographers, especially since the iPhone 6 announcement, into the right direction with brushing up on their skills. The Social Picture has also included a number of images for each section of the series for you to seek inspiration from; here are some of our favourites.
