Taxi Love – Favourite pop up cab companies
Every year a new company launches inside an iconic London taxi (literally), and like us, the pioneers in taxi photo booth fun, they’ve taken the event industry by storm…So we thought we should share a couple of our favourites with you…
The Ice Cream Cab
Style: Retro chic
Event type: perfect for weddings, events, festivals show, private parties, TV, film, magazine and anyone who likes ice cream!
This gorgeous white cab has been lovingly restored and transformed into a multi award winning eco-friendly pop up ice cream parlour. Serving up the finest hand scooped traditional ice creams with an incredible choice of flavours, you can view the full list of mouthwatering, taste bud tingling ice creams here – we recommend the toffee and butterscotch… yum yum nom nom.
This passionate family run business provides a flawless service by using only the finest quality ingredients with no artificial colours or flavourings added, plus the ice creams can be enjoyed in delicious waffle cones or 100% biodegradable tubs too – thumbs up from us for eco friendliness.
The Black Cab Coffee Co.
Style: Simply stylish
Event type: Parties, weddings, festivals, functions, corporate events and Megabooth HQ on a Monday morning to help the team function…please?
The Black Cab Coffee Co is the first mobile coffee and portable cocktail bar offering truly excellent artisan coffee and incredible cocktails from their licensed bar. To go with their extensive drinks menu from inside an iconic London Cab, The Black Cab Coffee Co can also provide marquees, DJs, lighting solutions and all the while maintain a cool focal point to indulge in a range of sumptuous cocktails.
The Black Cab Coffee Co design cocktail menus for clients & events, they research recipes old and new to make incredible cocktails, the espresso Martini is a favourite.
Love the concept!
Running on Empty – The Black Cab Café
Whilst searching the web for more inspired London cab related companies we stumbled across Running on Empty, a mouthwateringly good idea by award-winning Dumfries arts collective The Stove Network. The taxi was part of Scotland’s premier art and craft open studios event, Spring Fling and involved a traditional black cab touring Dumfries and Galloway serving meals made with delicious local ingredients. This was no ordinary black cab either, The Stove Network converted it to run on used cooking oil collected from fish and chips shops across the area and it has its own chef.
