Superdrug Presents a Light Tunnel Photo Experience
Superdrug created a health and beauty playground of unique and inspiring experiences at The Yard in Shoreditch.
They invited customers, influencers, and celebrities to interact with their brands and partners. Shea Moisture, Rimmel, Revlon, Schwarzkopf, St Moriz, Nivea, and many more offering sneak previews of their latest products. Visitors could get their hands on items before the brands officially unveil them to the public. Visitors attended intimate masterclasses with industry experts and got up close and personal with social media influencers. Celebrity included Daisie Smith, Billie Faiers, Ferne Mccann, and many more were also in attendance.
Urban Tropical Theme at The Yard
They designed the space at The Yard with an urban tropical theme — 22 stands covering hair, make-up, personal care, skin care, perfume, and tanning. Sticking to the urban tropical decor, Superdrug unveiled the new light tunnel for customers to immerse themselves in and capture exciting content to share on social. The light tunnel photo experience shot to prominence after A-List celebrity attendees, including Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, created videos in Vogue’s Light Tunnel at the Met Gala. The bespoke light tunnel emulated a visual representation of the event colours – pink with red and white flashing. Check out the GIFs from the event on our gallery page.
Head of a customer experience at Superdrug, Gemma Mason, explained, “We are so delighted to announce the launch of Superdrug Presents. The culmination of over a year’s work to ensure it is the ultimate event for health and beauty lovers”. Superdrug holds events in stores across the country, and this showcase brought all that excitement together in one place. Visitors could discover beauty trends and the latest inspiration from the leading health and wellbeing brands in the world.
All visitors received complimentary beauty studio treatment including piercings and eyebrow threading with a goody bag worth over £150.
