Red Bull Culture Clash Review at Earls Court
Earl’s Court was practically bursting at the seams last Thursday (October 30th) for one of the biggest live music events of the year, the Red Bull Culture Clash. 20,000 sweaty music lovers witnessed four grueling rounds of battles that went on for four hours at the largest head to head clash London has ever seen. The Red Bull Culture Clash crown went to Rebel Sound, a collective made up of Chase & Status, Rage, Shy FX and David ‘Ram Jam’ Rodigan MBE. The winners dropped exclusive tracks from Rihanna, Emeli Sande and even a cameo for British broadcasting legend Trevor McDonald. Rebel Sound saw off stiff competition from A$AP Mob, Stone Love and 2013 Culture Clash champ Boy Better Know.
The special guests nearly took the roof off at Earl’s Court, with A$AP Mob introducing emerging rap star Danny Brown and hip hop legends House of Pain, which amazingly still wasn’t enough to see them take the crown, especially for many of their die hard fans. Their were several special guests that joined the sell-out crowd too including supermodel Jourdan Dunn, Alexandra Burke, Goldie, Katy B and Wretch 32, with Emeli Sande and Naughty Boy cheering on at the side of the Rebel Sound stage. A few of them couldn’t resist getting into our bespoke Red Bull photo booth…
