21 Dec Operation Sock Drop
Operation Sock Drop with the Megabooth Hippie Van
Fresh clean socks are vital for people’s health, comfort and dignity and even more important to those in vulnerable positions including the thousands of homeless people who sleep rough or in temporary accommodation over the holiday season. The question is why should it stop at socks? Megabooth supported a sock drop campaign in 2014 and helped deliver warm hats, socks and glove set to thousands of homeless living on the streets of London. In a year that has seen refugees descend into the UK to escape the atrocities of a war-stricken Middle East, particularly Syria, operation Sock Drop will play a significant role in keeping people warm and healthy throughout the festive period.

The 2015 Sock Drop Operation begins today with a mission to bring a tiny amount of joy to those less fortunate.
In a year embroiled in further controversy, terrorism and talk of war, our hippie van will light up London as it embarks on a two-week tour and Christmas appeal to deliver presents to the homeless. The hippie van photo booth has recently been given a psychedelic makeover in an attempt to further spread the message of peace, love and happiness all over the capital.
There’s still time to participate in the sock drop operation, all you and your co-workers/families/friends need to do is donate at least one kit (socks, hats, gloves and toiletries) for £5, details below.
This year sock drop has extended to the North with Manchester and if you would like to organise your own operation get in touch with the Megabooth team to get some tips and helpful tools to help you bring joy to everyone in your community.
Look out for our hippie van spreading smiles and feel good festive vibes over the Christmas period. #Operationsockdrop
