Sky Cinema branded photo experience with new sponsor E.ON
To celebrate the launch of Sky Cinema’s new Fairy Tales pop up collection, the channel teamed up with official sponsor E.ON to create a unique brand photo experience at the spectacular Wollaton Hall in Nottingham.
Sky Cinema is the new home for Sky Movies and their partnership with E.ON will see one of the UK’s leading power and gas companies sponsor two of their most popular channels, Sky Cinema Premiere and Sky Cinema Family.
Part of the rebrand and relaunch of Sky Movies includes a whole range of pop-up channels that will roll out every month with themes that are to take in Star Trek, Disney-Pixar and Fairy Tales. Pop-ups based around the cinematic oeuvres of Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise are on the way too, as are revivals for the popular Star Wars, Superheroes and Harry Potter pop-ups.
The social media photo experience was to celebrate the launch of Sky Cinema Fairy Tales pop up channel, live on Sky from the 15th-21st August. The customised photo booth encouraged visitors to share their photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by using the hashtag #EONFairyTale and tagging @eonenergy and @SkyCinemaUK. Visitors walked away with a souvenir photo and celebrated their favourite fairy tale movies during this two day pop up event held in the stunning grounds at Wollaton Hall in Nottingham.
The new partnership between Sky and E.ON was formed by E.ON’s media agency Vizeum and Sky Media, the advertising sales arm of Sky. The relationship extends beyond channel sponsorship with the potential for E.ON’s customers to enjoy a range of great Sky Cinema offers and events including subscription offers, reviews, content and competitions.
